Join us for an evening discussion about the value, importance, and relevance of investing in female-led companies and how these ventures impact the growth and innovation of communities all over the country. We have an amazing panel of female entrepreneurs and investors from The JumpFund, Swellcoin, Samuel Jackson, Inc., and Golden Lighting. The event is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be provided.

Yuh-Mei Hutt - Golden Lighting and Domi Station
Yuh-Mei Hutt is the President of Golden Lighting, a decorative residential lighting manufacturer that sells to lighting retailers all across North America. Yuh-Mei was also recently elected to chair the Board of Directors at Domi Station. She is actively involved in Tallahassee’s business community and is very passionate in the growth of local entrepreneurship.

Kim Seals - The Jump Fund
Kim Seals is a Partner at The Jump Fund, an investment fund focused on providing the necessary capital to women entrepreneurs to ignite growth ventures throughout the Southeast . Kim is an active investor in early-stage technology, life science, consumer product and media companies. She most recently was a Senior Partner with Mercer, responsible for leading their overall go-to-market strategies in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Barbara Wescott - Swellcoin and Women Wednesdays
Barbara Wescott is the Founder and CEO of Swellcoin, a cash-back program that helps community businesses and “shop where you live” initiatives increase local spending with cashback incentives. Businesses increase business, customers save money, and communities thrives! Barbara is also the Director and Co-Founder of Women Wednesdays, a grassroots initiative to grow the rank and influence of women in collaborative coworking communities. She is passionate about helping women succeed and making Tallahassee the number one city for female entrepreneurs.

Amy Recht is an owner and director of Samuel Jackson, Inc., a Texas based company which is the world's leader in designing and manufacturing innovative moisture control and conditioning systems and equipment for cotton gins. Amy is the General Partner for two private investment funds: Technology Financial Resources, LP, which focuses primarily on Texas based cutting edge products and services for use in industry and manufacturing, and AJJ-Jackson, LP, which holds investments in various early stage companies located primarily in Florida and the Southeast including agriculture, life science, medical device, industrial safety, consumer product, SAS, IoT, cloud based and B2B software.
