#COVIDwear Pokes Fun at Our New Normal

Husband and wife creative team focused on commercial photography & creating short films, Alex and Chelsea Workman, wanted to do something creative to spread joy and poke fun at everyone’s “new normal”–working from home that is– without downplaying the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic. Everyone has had to make adjustments to working remotely, and some of those changes have included how we define business casual these days. “So you’re in quarantine? Blazers, button ups and boxers welcome” is how the Workmans put it.

If you head to covidwear.co, you’ll be met with a series of hilariously relatable portraits displaying people dressed in business wear from the waist up and loungewear from the waist down! Each participant was asked to play up their character as much as they felt comfortable in order to portray what’s likely occurring outside of the frame of a Zoom call. Additionally, the Workmans give you a peek into the participants’ lives by asking them a few questions about their temporary lifestyles: “Q: Name a song that describes your quarantine experience.⁣ A: Me, myself and I by Beyonce.”

Though we have all found ourselves living in a tough time, COVIDwear is bringing us a little laughter!
